I’m a chemical engineering student. I want to buy MacBook air for online class. I have iPad pro 11 with magic keyboard but I use it to write notes and PDF. Is 256gb enough for me? (I uses 112gb for both my data and system in my old Windows laptop)

This is my first Mac, and I am not going to get another unless for other reasons. In my opinion, a MacBook is not only better than Windows, but better than Windows itself in some important areas. I would not hesitate to do a comparison between a PC and a Mac in all categories. But for a beginner who likes to explore, and not just do tasks, I choose a Mac to get a working system that does not break the bank — but does have its own strengths in some areas and weaknesses in others.
